PROACTIVE MANAGEMENT PLANS

Proactive adjective: serving to prepare for, intervene in, or control an expected occurrence or situation, esp. a negative or difficult one; anticipatory.

Regardless if your applications have been installed without problems and your system set up appears to be perfect, computers, networks, servers, and all the other technical aspects of your business will eventually have a problem. RWA Medical's goal is to proactively manage your technology by preparing for these problems, which includes design of an intervention plan to minimize negative impacts and to develop a service plan that is appropriate for your practice.

A service plan tailored to your needs provides assurance that your practice will operate without overburdening your staff with IT issues.

Our service plans range from reactive to customized outsourcing, based on our clients' technology needs and budget. These plans have been developed to guide clients through a technology improvement process.

The steps of our process are:

  1. Fix the obvious problems
  2. Evaluate all systems with a Health Check Assessment
  3. Determine if a technology refresh is needed
  4. Stabilize your system
  5. Implement (appropriate preventive or proactive management plan)

During the technology improvement process, we learn how your medical practice works on a daily basis and how to incorporate technology with your future goals and objectives. RWA Medical realizes that the improvement process takes time and budgets can be limited. Therefore, we will develop a plan that takes you through the technology improvement process at a maturity rate that is appropriate for your healthcare practice. Once your systems are stable, we recommend implementing one of the maintenance or management plans listed below.

Stability Support Plan: Provides preventive maintenance for core technical infrastructure equipment. The goal of the Stability Support Plan is to reduce the likelihood of technical problems from occurring and minimize the impacts of technical problems when they occur, through routine maintenance, oversight, and testing. While this plan is not a proactive management plan, it includes continual monitoring and reporting of potential problems. Troubleshooting and repair of technical issues are not included in the plan retainer and are generally covered by pre-paid block hours. This plan best fits smaller practices (less than 25 desktops) or practices that don’t rely on digital imagery and electronic records.

Shield Management Plan: Provides both preventive maintenance and proactive, ongoing management for the core technical infrastructure equipment. The goal of the Shield Management Plan is to limit technical problems and quickly resolve technical problems when they do occur. The Shield Management Plan is a proactive management plan that includes basic user and helpdesk support. Troubleshooting and repair of most technical issues are included in the plan retainer. This plan is our most popular and cost-effective plan for mid-to-large-size practices that need periodic on-site support.

For our Advantage Partners: We provide customized outsourcing, business consulting, project management support for ongoing endeavors, and support for improvement and business expansion projects. This plan is highly customized to suit the client’s needs and is structured similarly to the Shield Management Plan above.

We also offer a Staff Plus Advantage Plan for our Advantage Partners that includes regular assignment of RWA Medical staff on-site or a combination of client IT and our services.

The Advantage Partner is typically a larger organization with requirements for regular onsite technical assistance.
