RWA MEDICAL BENEFITS
Paid Time Off (PTO)
The Paid Time Off benefit is available to eligible employees to
provide opportunities for vacation, sick, and personal time.
The amount of PTO an employee receives each year increases with
the length of employment as shown in the following schedule:
Hire date through year 4 – 4.62 hours biweekly (120 hours
per year)
Years 5 through 9 – 6.16 hours biweekly (160 hours per year)
Years 10 and over – 7.7 hours biweekly (200 hours per year)
Holiday Schedule
RWA grants holiday time off to all eligible employees on the holidays
listed below:
New Year's Day (January 1)
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (third Monday in January)
Washington's Birthday (third Monday in February)
Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
Independence Day (July 4)
Labor Day (first Monday in September)
Columbus Day (second Monday in October)
Veterans' Day (November 11)
Thanksgiving (fourth Thursday in November)
Christmas (December 25)
Comprehensive Health Insurance
RWA pays a portion of an eligible employee’s medical insurance
policy starting on the first of the month following 30 days of
employment. As an option, employees can cover their entire family
under the same policy. RWA also offers optional enrollment in dental
insurance for employees and their families.
Life/AD&D Insurance at No Additional
Cost
RWA provides a basic life insurance plan for eligible employees.
Additional supplemental and/or dependent life insurance coverage
may also be purchased. Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
insurance provides protection in cases of serious injury or death
resulting from an accident. AD&D insurance coverage is provided
as part of the basic life insurance plan.
Voluntary Term Life Insurance
RWA offers an optional voluntary term life insurance plan which
allows eligible employees to purchase additional life insurance
for themselves, spouse, and/or children.
Short Term Disability Insurance at No
Additional Cost
RWA provides a short-term disability (STD) benefits plan to eligible
employees who are unable to work because of a qualifying disability
due to an injury or illness. Employees in the full-time employment
classification are eligible to participate in the STD plan.
Long Term Disability Insurance
RWA provides an optional long-term disability (LTD) benefits plan
to help eligible employees cope with an illness or injury that
results in a long-term absence from employment. LTD is designed
to ensure a continuing income for employees who are disabled
and unable to work.
Workers Compensation Insurance
RWA provides a comprehensive workers' compensation insurance program
at no cost to employees. This program covers any work related
injury or illness sustained in the course of employment that
requires medical, surgical, or hospital treatment.
AFLAC Insurance
RWA offers an optional opportunity to enroll in AFLAC benefits.
Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit provides the convenience of having your paycheck
electronically deposited into the financial institution account(s)
of your choice, providing access to your money on payday.
Competitive 401(k) and Roth 401(k) Savings
Plan With Company Contributions
RWA has established 401 (k) and Roth 401 (k) plans to provide eligible
employees the potential for future financial security for retirement.
Upon completion of 1 month of service, eligible employees may participate
in the 401k plan subject to all terms and conditions of the plan.
Personal and Professional Development
RWA offers reimbursement for tuition, lab fees, textbooks, and
certification exams on approved courses.
Pre-paid Legal Services
RWA offers an optional opportunity to enroll in a pre-paid legal
service.
